Drawing From Politics

Captain Terrible & Jab His Worm is a symbolic satire painting of political insanity. I add a splash of color and a twist of humor to sort out the bull crap of our country's leadership, ruled by a delusional, spoiled MAN/BOY. But this is not just a critique, it's a call for all of us to engage in critical thinking and question the status quo. That's my take... this is my art.

'Waterlily Nude Dance' combines the elements of water, nudes, pastel, and thread for my latest multi-media painting. Stashed in two large plastic boxes are rolls of several years of nude drawings from life drawing groups that have been beckoning me to use in my latest series of compositions.

'Fashion Favorites'... Nothing like exploring a new medium of watercolors and then combining them for a fresh approach with hand stitching. Hand-stitching is relaxing, and I've found the new watercolor medium to be meditative as well.
