My pet portraits have grown into a world of their own, and it has grown apparent that I could use a separate website dealing with Pet Portraits. I tossed around many domain names to finally settle on a combination of words that represent all kinds of pets, art, treasure, history, and a sense of playful joy that pets bring to our lives.

I do enjoy making websites and creating blogs to serve several purposes, such as a presentation for my artworks, my desire to keep learning new technologies, and my past passions of creating store displays for small businesses and large department stores.

It's all in the eyes with pet portraits
, and here is an example of the layers of colors.

My latest pet portrait, 'Meow-merized,' is a pastel I painted of a memorable afternoon with Tyro, a tiny lady cat whom I had connected with years ago, and remember her determined intentions, glowing demands through those mesmerizing greenish-blue eyes of hers.

This is the second time I have painted Tyro, a lady cat. Starting out on my pet portraits series in 2007, I first started with a picture of Tyro titled "She Wants To Be Famous." And indeed, she has become one of the most viewed pet portraits I have posted.  I thought to continue her destiny and her good luck charms by initiating my new pet portrait website with a new portrait of Tyro!
