Europe Trip and Happy New Year 2009

Europe in the fall is an excellent time to travel, with bright, warm days still prevailing, as well as the added bonus of less traffic, better prices overall, picturesque landscapes of fall colors, and no lineups.

Jim and I traveled to five countries for five weeks, exploring not only the gorgeous landscapes defining each area but also the food and drink, which is worth the trip on its own! Museums of every topic can be found even in the quaintest small communities, displaying artifacts and artworks from masters of the past to the present day.

The prominent art museums are certainly breathtaking, while also overwhelming my brain with the relishing observations of Master artists’ works of art. No other means of duplicating the originals can possibly transform the emotional impact of experiencing the original works of art. There were artists and eras of art I never gave much attention to until I saw them in person.

I recently decided to create our own travel website, which displays my photos taken with my Canon Digital Rebel SLR, as well as our trips and travel journals, including photo slideshows. We also like to share our informative personal travel tips. Check out my new website featuring photo slideshows of our travels to Europe, Thailand, and Canada. www.tripnaround.blogspot.com

May chaos manifest your genius and creativity for 2009...
