 Strike A Pose is a multimedia artwork that combines the composition of collectables transformed by a surreal perspective, incorporating patterns and nudes in paper collage for a symbiosis of playful artmaking.

My sketchbooks are full of ideas and drawings, sketched from my surroundings as well as quick sketches from attending  'life drawing nudes', a group of artists humbled for 3-hour sessions by the muses who pose for us from 1-minute hold poses to about 20 minutes.

Household objects featured in 'Strike A Pose'

'Strike A Pose' employs a range of media to create a playful composition.  I cut out pages from an old French art book featuring master painters such as Renoir and Chagall, as seen in black and white in the paintings. Various decorative papers & sheer fabric were also added for details.
