Chair Rescue DIY Transformation

DIY Rescue Chair

On a routine drive, I spotted four abandoned chairs standing roadside, forgotten and bound for the dump. But I didn't see them as trash. I saw them as potential, as new additions to 'Roadside Chic' decor, waiting for rescue and transformation. The joy of rescuing and transforming these pieces was palpable.

Art Deco Sketchbook Studies

Art Deco Sketchbook Studies by Minaz Jantz

Art Deco, also known as Le Style 25, originated from the luxurious French school of design that garnered significant attention during the 1925 Paris Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, also known as the Paris World's Fair. Today, many of us love Art Deco for its fluidity of curvy designs, which have been used to decorate our homes, objects d'art, and architecture.

Diversify Drawing Tools

Diversify Drawing Tools by Minaz Jantz

Isn't variety the spice of life that gives all its flavor? Drawing doesn't have to be all about pencils. Any tool that makes marks is suitable for drawing in a way that is unique and expressive of shapes, colors, and textures. Remember, even the simplest tools can produce complex and interesting results, empowering you to create masterpieces.

Drawing From Politics

Captain Terrible & Jab His Worm by Minaz Jantz

Captain Terrible & Jab His Worm is a symbolic satire painting of political insanity. I add a splash of color and a twist of humor to sort out the bull crap of our country's leadership, ruled by a delusional, spoiled MAN/BOY. But this is not just a critique, it's a call for all of us to engage in critical thinking and question the status quo. That's my take... this is my art.

Re-Do Prior Art Works

Transforming older artworks is a wondrous idea for any artist to pursue, particularly with damaged paintings and faded drawings. They must still inspire a spark and a voice that calls out to transform it, demanding to be reborn in a new era while also refreshing memories of times past.
